Ines is the CEO of The Centre for Child Rights and Business, a global social enterprise headquartered in Hong Kong, with programmes and staff across over 30 countries. With over 15 years of expertise in supply chain sustainability, she has been at the forefront of addressing child rights, labour rights, and human rights issues in Asia and beyond.

Since 2014, Ines has been instrumental in guiding The Centre to help businesses understand and address their impact on children, especially within supply chains. She leads the organisation’s strategic direction, overseeing global operations, and engaging with major multinational companies and partners. Ines also drives the development and scaling of innovative child rights and human rights due diligence programmes across diverse industries.

Under her leadership, The Centre has grown into a recognised leader in child rights and business, working with an expanding network of international companies and partners to create lasting, positive change for children, youth and parents worldwide.

Prior to joining The Centre, Ines was the Director of Learning and Impact at ELEVATE Limited, a leading CSR learning and capacity building consultancy. She has also worked as a Director of Assessment, Capacity Building and Training at the Fair Labor Association (FLA).

In addition to her role at The Centre, Ines serves as the Chair of the Steering Committee of the Fair Cobalt Alliance (FCA), a multi-stakeholder platform launched in 2020 to mobilise supply chain-wide resources and support a fair, safe and formal artisanal cobalt sector. As Chair, she helps guide the FCA’s strategic direction, align stakeholders and ensure accountability to its mission. She also serves on the Advisory Board of the Association of Professional Social Compliance Auditors (APSCA), where she contributes to developing recommendations that support APSCA’s mission and objectives and represent the perspectives of all stakeholders.

Ines holds a Ph.D from the University of Fribourg’s faculty of Arts in Sociology of Religion and a Master’s Degree in Social Work, Law & Sociology of Religion from University of Fribourg.

Mark brings over 15 years of experience in sustainability and supply chain issues, working with business, investors, and not-for-profit organisations to drive improvements across environmental, social and governance (ESG) issues. 

Mark joined The Centre's team as Deputy Executive Director in June 2020, supporting the delivery and development of The Centre's services, and working with partners and businesses in Europe and North America to help them improve their direct and indirect impact on children in supply chains. 

Prior to joining The Centre, Mark was Senior Vice President at the ICTI Ethical Toy Program, a leading responsible sourcing programme for the global toy, play and entertainment industries. He has also worked as Head of Communications at ethical trade service provider Sedex, and has held positions at responsible investment research firm EIRIS Vigeo. 

Mark is a graduate in Environmental Science and is a qualified Member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

Amy is responsible for all aspects of finance and tax for The Centre at all regions, which includes Mainland China, Hong Kong and the branch office in Myanmar. Amy is also responsible for communicating with all of our consultants in different countries in relation to banking and payments.

Before joining in The Centre, Amy worked at a professional accounting firm in the UK and China for many years. Amy has rich experience in accounting and taxation for various business industries such as consultancy, manufacturing, retail, law, entertainment, apparel brands and etc.

Riri is the Vice President of Products and Services for the Asia region at The Centre for Child Rights and Business, where she leads the implementation of more than 60 projects annually. Her work focuses on child rights risk and impact assessments, human rights due diligence, policy and procedure review and development, and capacity-building support for brands, suppliers, traders, farmers, and workers across global supply chains. 

She brings over 15 years of experience in human rights, with expertise spanning migration, child protection, human trafficking, maternal and parental rights, and social sustainability in business supply chains. Her portfolio covers countries across Asia—including Indonesia, China, Bangladesh, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Cambodia, Pakistan, Türkiye, and India—as well as Africa (Ghana and Uganda) and the Pacific (Papua New Guinea). 

Riri has worked across agriculture, manufacturing, and mining supply chains on commodities such as coffee, cocoa, palm oil, tea, natural fibres, sugarcane, garments and apparel, toys, natural stone, cotton, chilli, pepper, mung bean, and mint. 

Prior to joining The Centre, she worked with PathFinders Hong Kong and the International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Indonesia and Hong Kong, focusing on child protection, counter-trafficking, labour migration, and direct assistance to victims of exploitation.

Ellen leads global communications and marketing efforts at The Centre. As the head of the communications team, she plays a pivotal role in developing and overseeing strategies that empower businesses to drive positive change in supply chains for children and families. As a member of the leadership team, she contributes to The Centre's strategic planning and growth initiatives.

With nearly 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, including ten at The Centre, Ellen's work in creating impactful and convincing communications in collaboration with global team members, has helped drive efforts to engage more businesses in child rights issues and expand into new countries and sectors.

Ellen is a graduate from SOAS, University of London, and is proud to be part of an organisation dedicated to improving the lives of children and communities in global supply chains.

Ellen lives in Asia with her family. She is fluent in English, German and Mandarin.

Cecilia has over 10 years of experience within business and human rights, responsible supply chain management, business development and operations.

In 2023 she joined The Centre as Director of Services, Europe, Africa and Americas. In that role, she supports service and project delivery and collaboration with clients and partners to expand our reach and jointly contribute to positive impact on children in these regions.

Prior to joining The Centre, Cecilia was responsible for social sustainability and implementation of human rights due diligence for a company with a global presence and a broad range of product and service supply chains. She has also been consulting for multiple global companies across different industries on sustainability strategies, human rights due diligence and supply chain management. She has lived and worked abroad for many years.

Cecilia has a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Management, yet a red thread throughout her career and what motivates her is to drive positive outcomes for both business and the people they touch and depend upon.

Cecilia Chatterjee Martinsen has been International Programme Director and Interim CEO of Save the Children Sweden since February 2026.

She has also been a board member of UN Global Compact Sweden since May 2020. Previously, she was Secretary General of WaterAid Sweden from 2011 until 2020, where she primarily focused on issues related to clean water access and sanitation.

Cecilia Chatterjee Martinsen holds a master’s degree in humanitarian assistance from Uppsala University and a bachelor’s degree in business administration from Halmstad University.

Jaana Kovalainen has worked for Save the Children since 2011. Her current role is the Director of the Funding and Partnership Department for Save the Children Sweden, where she deals with institutional partnerships, corporate partnerships and a Child Rights and Business Hub to generate funding for SCS’ domestic and international programmes.

Previously, she has worked in the United Kingdom, Ethiopia and Colombia in positions related to fund management, country/programme management, and business development.

Jaana Kovalainen holds a master's degree in human rights for children from Universidad Sergio Arboleda, a bachelor’s degree in international marketing and advertising from the Institute of International Education, and a bachelor’s degree in social science from Sundsta Gymnasiet.

Anders Ferbe is a seasoned Swedish labour leader and mediator with extensive experience in organisational governance and social advocacy. He served as the national Chairman of IF Metall from 2012 to 2017, leading one of Sweden’s largest trade unions. Following his tenure, he has continued to contribute to public service as a mediator for Sweden’s National Mediation Office, a lay judge at Södertörn District Court, and an elected representative in Huddinge municipality.

Since 2018, Anders has been the Vice Chair of Save the Children Sweden, where he brings his deep expertise in negotiation, stakeholder engagement and policy oversight to strengthen the organisation’s strategic direction and child‑rights mission. His career reflects a long‑standing commitment to fairness, social responsibility and constructive dialogue across sectors.

Florian Westphal has been Managing Director and Chairman of the Board of Save the Children Germany since October 2021.

Previously, he worked at the Global Public Policy Institute in Berlin on a research project on the protection of civilians in armed conflicts. Between August 2020 and June 2014, Florian Westphal led Doctors Without Borders (MSF) in Germany.

Previously, he spent 15 years with the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), where he worked in, among other places, the DR Congo, Sierra Leone, Kenya, Malaysia and the Geneva headquarters.

Florian Westphal has a background in broadcast journalism and holds a master's degree in international politics from the University of Bristol and a bachelor's degree in economics and politics from the School of Oriental and African Studies in London.

Ian Spaulding has been working for LRQA since April 2013, currently in the role of Chief Executive Officer.

Ian has a background in business assurance, consulting and sustainability and has spent over 25 years in Asia, Europe and the United States, building, leading and growing businesses in those fields. He has worked with large companies as well as with local trade unions, NGOs and governments to improve on a range of business, safety, health, quality, social, environmental and operational challenges. He has held positions at Sears Holdings, KPMG and BSR, and later successfully founded a world-class risk and sustainability solutions organisation, ELEVATE.

Ian Spaulding holds a master’s degree in religion and human rights from Yale University and a bachelor’s degree in political science from the American University.

Karl-Oskar Olming has been the Head of Sustainability Strategy, Policy and Governance at SEB since 2018, and Member of the EU Platform on Sustainable Finance since 2020. He has experience in leading sustainability teams with responsibility for policies, due diligence, engagement and integrating sustainability in financial strategy and negotiating international sustainability agreements for export credit agencies in the OECD.

Previously, he worked as Global Project Manager for the ILO, where he designed and managed global programmes for increased productivity through sustainability improvements for SMEs in global value chains.

Karl-Oskar Olming holds a master’s degree in Economics and Business from the Stockholm School of Economics.
